Jon A. Kubitscheck, 57, passed away Dec. 26, 2015. He was born Oct. 11, 1958, the son of Joseph and Viola Mae (Weigel) Kubitscheck.

Mr. Kubitscheck was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since the mid '90s, coming from Minturn, CO. Jon was a mechanic by trade and worked in the construction industry. He was a member of the Catholic faith and the American Legion Argonne Post 180, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include a brother, Larry Kubitscheck and his wife Sharon of Great Bend, and two sisters, Sharon Spurlock and Jolene Hampton, both of Bryan, TX.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Ron Kubitscheck.

A Memorial Mass  will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. Memorials may be made to the Jon Kubitscheck Expense Fund, care of Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
