John David Kruckenberg, 37, died December 24, 2011 at Great Bend, Kansas. He was born September 13, 1974 at Great Bend, the son of Homer Andrew and Joyce LaVon (Graham) Kruckenberg. He married Lyndsay Clutter October 15, 2005 at Hoisington, Kansas. A Hoisington resident since August 2011, coming from Topeka and Claflin, Mr. Kruckenberg was Director of Technology for USD #354 and worked in the IT department at Parrish Hotel, Topeka. Mr. Kruckenberg was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Hoisington. He was passionate about computers and loved and adored his family, especially his children. Survivors include his wife Lyndsay Kruckenberg, of the home; his father, Homer Kruckenberg, Great Bend; one son, Keaton Kruckenberg, of the home; one daughter, Sydney Kruckenberg, of the home; two sisters: Gretchen Titus-Schmidt, Prairie Village, Kansas; and Kaydene Truitt, Turon, Kansas; and one brother, Kyle Kruckenberg, Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaVon Kruckenberg. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend. Pastor Don Fisher and the Reverend Arlyn Thielenhaus will officiate. Inurnment will be in Great Bend Cemetery. The register book will be available to sign from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are requested to his Children's Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.
