John Eric Ford, 34, died April 4, 2007 at Great Bend, Kansas. He was born January 7, 1973 at Friona, Texas, the son of Burl and Dorthy Camp Ford. He was a resident of Great Bend since 1989, coming from Clovis, New Mexico and was a cook for the former K-Bob's Restaurant. Ford is survived by his mother, Dorthy Morgan, of the home; one son, Eric Tyson Ford, Gilmer, Texas; three brothers, Curtis Ford, Great Bend, Kansas, David Ford, Great Bend, Kansas, and Kevin Ford, Ruidoso, New Mexico; and one sister, Cheryl King, Great Bend, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Ford. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2007 at Bryant Funeral Home. The Reverend Don Paden will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend, Kansas. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2007 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time, Monday, April 9, 2007 all at Bryant Funeral Home. A memorial in Mr. Ford's name has been established with the Great Bend Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.
