Johanna English, 68, died March 7, 2008 at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita. She was born November 18, 1939 in Nurnberg, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Johanna Thuringer. She was a homemaker. On October 28, 1962 she married Thomas English at St. John, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Thomas English, Hoisington; daughter, Brigitte Lowe and husband Gregory, Hoisington; two brothers, Heinrich Thuringer and Ernst Thuringer, Nurnberg, Germany and a sister, Traudi Steng, Nurnberg, Germany. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Great Bend with Edward Forton officiating.
