Joel Thomas Gray, 5 months, died June 11, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born December 28, 2010 a Grove, Oklahoma, the son of Jeremiah Waterman and Patricia Lynn Gray. He was a Great Bend resident. Joel was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Great Bend. Survivors include his father, Jeremiah Waterman; his mother, Patricia Lynn Gray, Grove, Oklahoma; his adoptive parents: Ken E. and Melissa Dawn (Pearson) Gray, of the home; one brother, Paul Gray, of the home; foster brother, Mark Vanaman, of the home; foster sister, Angel Zabala, of the home; paternal grandparents: Tom and Linda Gray, Grove; maternal grandmother, Karen Stephens, Great Bend; two biological brothers and two biological sisters. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Ken E. Gray officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Heritage Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.
