Joan Nuss, 86, died May 10, 2011 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood, Kansas. He was born March 18, 1925 at Bessemer, Michigan, the daughter of Guy and Angela (Larese) Marzari. She married Glen W. Nuss April 10, 1948 at Hoisington, Kansas. He died March 21, 2006. A Hoisington resident for fifty years, she was a teacher's aide for USD 431, Hoisington. Mrs. Nuss was a member of St. John the Evanglist Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary, both of Hoisington. Survivors include one son, Pat Nuss, Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers: Lawrence Marzari, Santa Barbara, California; and Guy Marzari, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two grandchildren: Natalee Nuss and Nathan Nuss and wife Karem. She was preceded in death by one son, Mike Nuss; and one brother, Bernard Marzari. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Hoisington Cemetery.
