Jimmy Raybern, 44, died November 1, 2010 at Memorial Hospital, McPherson, Kansas. He was born May 31, 1966 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Sam and Lora (Boatman) Raybern. He married Carla Scheuerman June 12, 1993 at Great Bend. A McPherson resident for seven years, coming from Great Bend, Mr. Raybern was a warehouse foreman for Mid States Supply, McPherson. Mr. Raybern was a member of the First Church of God, Great Bend. He enjoyed many activities, especially singing and volleyball. Survivors include his wife, Carla Raybern, of the home; one son, Tylen Raybern, of the home; one daughter, Shayla Raybern, of the home; his mother, Lora Raybern, Seward, Kansas; five brothers: Lew Raybern and wife Amy, Seward; Shannon Raybern and wife Julie, Hudson, Kansas; Don Raybern and wife Terra, Hutchinson, Kansas; Darrell Bradshaw and wife Melissa, Alexander, Kansas; and Kenny Bradshaw and wife Cindy, Seward; and one sister, Patty Hewitt, Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Raybern; and two brothers, Sam Raybern and Bill Raybern. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at the First Church of God, Great Bend. Pastor Tom Swain will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Seward. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2010 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Funeral Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
