Jean Cuzick, 87, died September 14, 2013 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born June 18, 1926 at Great Bend, the daughter of Clarence and Chloe (Piper) Yetschke. She married Joseph Clair "Joe" Cuzick October 14, 1950 at Great Bend. He died March 18, 1974. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mrs. Cuzick was a secretary for Barton County Health Department. Mrs. Cuzick was a member of First United Methodist Church, Great Bend. Survivors include one son, Stan Cuzick, Great Bend; and one grandson, Shawn Cuzick, Great Bend. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Cuzick; one brother, Robert Yetschke; and one sister, Evelyn Everett. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Great Bend Cemetery with the Reverend Lennie Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to First United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
