Janice Lynn Hauck, 50, died April 22, 2007 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born July 2, 1956 at Great Bend, the daughter of Jesse H. and Evelyn Louise Satterfield Jones. She married Daniel Hauck on February 14, 2000. He survives. She was a dietary specialist for Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend and had also been an assembler for Great Bend Manufacturing. She was a lifetime resident of Great Bend. She was an avid and dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan. Survivors include her husband, Daniel, of the home; mother, Evelyn Jones of Great Bend; one son, Kevin Schreiner of Austin, Texas, son of Leonard Schreiner; one daughter, Shawna Goans, of Great Bend, daughter of the late Darrell Goans; one brother, Harold Jones of Manchester, Massachusetts; one half-sister, Jessica Jones of Wichita, Kansas; and one grandchild, Caitlin Schmitt. Janice was preceded in death by her father, Jesse H. Jones and two brothers, William Jones and Steven Jones. A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 25,2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Dwight Dozier officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with family to receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 25 from 9:00 a.m. to service time at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Janice Lynn Hauck Expense Fund. Donations may be given in forms of either cash or check.
