We lost a Beautiful soul, Janice M. (Keller) Becker, 78, from earth into heaven. She was trapped in her body on earth with a very tough fight with dementia. She remained kind, happy, resolute and devoted to her husband and family through it all. A class act in sickness and in health. Such a wonderful role model for many. Humble and unselfish, always there for us when we needed her. She peacefully passed in her sleep, Sunday morning, April 25, 2021, at Showalter Villa, Hesston.

Born on December 16, 1942, the youngest and only girl to Charlie and Lucile (Duddy) Keller in Great Bend. She married her first and only love, Jerry Becker, June 10, 1961, in Seward. They were married for 59 years.

Jan was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, business woman, cub scout leader, drum Corps mom, active church member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Hutchinson, Argonne Rebel director and former teacher at Holy Cross Catholic School in Hutchinson. She enjoyed camping and boating but especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include, her husband, Jerry Becker of the home; four children, Bradley Becker and wife Sandi of Great Bend, Gregory Becker and Michael Becker, both of Springfield, Mo., and Diane Grigg and husband Travis of Denton, Tex.; thirteen grandchildren, Zachary, Jordyn, Luke, Ryan, Lindsey, Malorie, Natalie, Matthew, Haley, Jace, Cole, Cannon, and Ainsleigh; and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Norman Keller, Marvin Keller and Jim Keller.
