Inez Strutt Lorson, 82, died September 8, 2008 at her Great Bend, Kansas, residence. She was born March 18, 1926 at Natoma, Kansas, the daughter of John and Esther (Worden) Strutt. A teacher, Mrs. Strutt was a Great Bend resident twenty-eight years, coming from Lebanon, Kansas, and Fresno, California. Mrs. Strutt was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick and the Altar Society, both of Great Bend. Survivors include two sons: Duke Lorson and Doug Lorson, both of Great Bend, Kansas; two daughters: Virginia McCartney, Claflin, Kansas; and Pamela Lorson Coleman, Great Bend, Kansas; one brother, Ronald Strutt, Woodston, Kansas; and three grandchildren: Jill McCartney, Grant Coleman; and Brooke Coleman. She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Strutt. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2008 and a Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2008 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Floyd McKinney will be celebrant. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Plain Cemetery, Natoma, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home.
