Helen Marie Weese, 80, died December 3, 2010 at her Great Bend, Kansas, home. She was born June 2, 1930, at Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Lee and Mabel (Kilgore) Miller. She married Calvin Levi Weese October 24, 1948 at Pratt, Kansas. He died October 22, 2002. A Great Bend resident since 1955, coming from Pratt, Kansas Mrs. Weese was a Certified Medical Aide for 32 years at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Great Bend. Survivors include five sons: Calvin L. Weese, Jr., Great Bend, Kansas; Gregory Lee Weese and wife Cindy, Kansas City, Missouri; Jeffery Lynn Weese and wife Lanette, Great Bend, Kansas; Kevin Leon Weese, Great Bend, Kansas; Sean Lesley Weese and wife Debbie, Mt. Airy, Maryland: two daughters: Sherilyn Kae Stewart and husband Tom, Emporia, Kansas; Kimberly Ann Jordan, Great Bend, Kansas; one sister: Carolyn Woods, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Miller. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Church of Christ in Great Bend, Kansas with Chuck Marshall and Pastor Luke Weese officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2010 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, Kansas.
