Harold R. "Tom" Thompson, born September 20, 1931, died September 19, 2009 at his daughter's home in Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Woydziak) Thompson December 10, 2003. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Dubuque, Kansas. Survivors include his mother-in-law, Elfrieda Woydziak; one sister, Betty Canedy; two sons, Tom and Todd Thompson; one daughter, Tonia Hamblen; and grandchildren, Josh and Nikki Smith, Sarah Michels, Austin and Noah Hamblen, and Parker, Cooper, and Bailey Thompson. Inurnment will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery.
