Hans C. Anderson, 54, died June 18, 2009 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born November 9, 1954 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Everett and Evangeline (Stejskal) Anderson. He married Robin D. Erwin in August 1985 at Great Bend. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, Mr. Anderson was a truck driver for Barton County Road and Bridge. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. Survivors include his wife, Robin Anderson, of the home; his mother, Evangeline Anderson, Great Bend, Kansas; four brothers, Robert D. Anderson, Great Bend, Kansas; Larry W. Anderson, Great Bend, Kansas; Mark T. Anderson, Hawthorne, Nevada; and Terry G. Anderson, Great Bend, Kansas; and one sister, Clara Jo Lefebvre, Colwich, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Anderson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Floyd McKinney will be celebrant. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Barton County Humane Society or Brit Spaugh Zoo, both in care of the funeral home.
