Guillermo "Will" Resendiz, 31, died November 25, 2012 at his home, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born February 6, 1981 at McAllen, Texas, the son of Atanacio and Teresa (Rivera) Resendiz. He married Adelita Diaz at Edinburg, Texas. A Great Bend resident since 1987, coming from McAllen, he was a plasma operator for KMW Loaders. Mr. Resendiz was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. Survivors include his wife, Adelita Resendiz of the home; parents: Atanacio and Teresa Resendiz, Great Bend; one son, Guillermo Resendiz-Diaz, Great Bend; one daughter, Emily Resendiz-Diaz, Great Bend; one sister, Cynthia Enriquez and her husband Mario, Great Bend; two brothers: Atanacio Resendiz, Jr., Great Bend; and Rogelio Resendiz, Great Bend. Vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Guillermo Resendiz Funeral Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
