Gregory Allen Bean, 54, died November 25, 2012 at his home, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born April 4, 1958 at Great Bend, the son of Paul and Norma (Trent) Bean. A lifetime Great Bend resident, he was a motorcycle mechanic for Great Bend Yamaha. Mr. Bean was a member of Cheyenne Bottoms Sportsman Club. He raced motorcycles, winning many state titles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Survivors include his parents, Paul and Norma Bean, Great Bend; one sister, Paula Schwartzkopf and her companion Tim Newby, Great Bend; and one nephew, Jay Schwartzkopf. There will be no services. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice or Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.
