Glennis F. McNett, 57, died January 19, 2012 at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. She was born March 25, 1954 at Great Bend, the daughter of Elwin D. "Pete" and Bessie (Novak) Lamb. She married Samuel D. McNett October 14, 1973 at Great Bend. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mrs. McNett was formerly a cook for Central Kansas Medical Center. Mrs. McNett was a member of First Assembly of God, Great Bend. Survivors include her husband, Samuel, of the home; three sons: Mickie McNett, Hoisington, Kansas; Mark McNett, Great Bend; and Jesse McNett, Great Bend; three brothers: Jerald A. Lamb, Great Bend; Danny D. Lamb, Plainville, Kansas; and Rick L. Lamb, Hoisington; one sister, Sandra M. Miller, Georgetown, Illinois; and four grandchildren: Mackenzie Stoneking, Mickie McNett, Randy McNett, and Shaylin McNett. She was preceded in death by one brother, LeRoy G. Lamb; and one sister, Nancy C. Lamb. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2012 at Golden Belt Memorial Park. Pastor Dwight Dozier will officiate. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2012 and from 9:00 a.m. to noon Monday at Bryant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are requested to Kans for Kids, in care of the funeral home.
