Geraldine M. "Gerry" Peschka, 78, died October 8, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born June 8, 1935 at Beaver, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Catherine (Kramer) Zorn. She married Elmer Alvin Peschka October 20, 1952 at Beaver, Kansas. He died March 27, 1984. A Great Bend resident since 1956, coming from Hoisington, Mrs. Peschka was a homemaker. Mrs. Peschka was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons: Dan Peschka and his wife Nancy, Joe Peschka and his wife Alethea, and Patrick Peschka and his companion Natalie Sharkey, all of Great Bend; three grandchildren: Kimberly Bilder and her husband Christopher, Lincoln, Nebraska; Joe Peschka, Jr. and his wife Dycie, Great Bend; and Thomas Peschka and his wife Jamie, Great Bend; and ten great-grandchildren, Callum Bilder, Keegan Bilder, Dayaneara Peschka, Persephenie Peschka, Liberty Peschka, Jacob Peschka, Logan Peschka, Madison Peschka, Cody Cullison, and Conner Cullison. She was preceded in death by one son, Tom Peschka; and three brothers. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home.
