Frank Charles Epp, 58, died January 17, 2010 at his home. He was born July 19, 1951 at Wichita, Kansas, the son of Daniel and Katherine (Franz) Epp. He married Gloria Joy Heyen at Alamagordo, New Mexico. They later divorced, but remained good friends. A resident of Great Bend, Kansas, since 1986, moving from Colby, Mr. Epp was a driller by trade in the oilfield, which he passed on to his sons. Survivors include companion, Mia, of the home; two sons: Shawn Epp and Trevis Epp, both of Great Bend; one daughter, Stephanie Sigmund, Great Bend; one brother, Richard Epp, Colby, Kansas; one half-brother, Randy Powell, Wichita, Kansas; two half-sisters: Kathy Powell and Diana Powell, both of Wichita; and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend Dick Ogle officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are requested to the family, in care of the funeral home.
