Frances H. Pratt, 88, died December 14, 2011 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born March 11, 1923 at High Point, North Carolina, the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Scott) Dennis. She married Charles Wayne Pratt June 30, 1945 at Chester, South Carolina. He died March 19, 1999. A Great Bend resident since 2001, coming from Hoisington, Kansas, Mrs. Pratt was a homemaker. Mrs. Pratt was a member of First Assembly of God, Great Bend. She enjoyed embroidering and shopping. Survivors include two sons: Darrell Pratt, Hutchinson, Kansas; and Donald Pratt and his wife Lori, Grand Prairie, Texas; one daughter: Brenda Kultgen and her husband Joe, Great Bend; one sister: Lois Rosdahl, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Keith Kultgen and his wife Michelle; Kayla Clanton and her husband Aaron; Mandy Ziegler and her husband Joe; Becky Jinright and her husband Matt; and Jeramie Pratt and his wife Jessica; ten great-grandchildren: Ryan Kultgen, Christopher Kultgen, Chelsea Clanton, Shelby Clanton, Kyle Ziegler, Brandon Pratt, Bradley Jinright, David Jinright, Jordan Pratt, and Jaxson Pratt; and one great-great-grandson, Jett Kern. She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Kathy Pratt; two sisters, Dorothy Ward and Betty Walton; and three brothers, Roy Dennis, Gracen Dennis, and Bobby Dennis. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Pastor Dwight Dozier will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
