Hoisington, Kansas Florence Ochs, 96, died March 5, 2008 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis, Wichita, KS. She was born June 16, 1911 in Northeast Barton County, the daughter of Joseph and Maude Simms Rexroat. A longtime resident of Hoisington, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Hoisington Bible Church, Hoisington. On October 23, 1936, she married Paul P. Ochs in Liberty, Missouri. He died November 20, 1992. Survivors include a son, Duane Ochs and wife Rita, Wichita, KS; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Bentley and a brother, James Rexroat. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, with Pastor Gary Clark presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until service time all at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral, Hoisington. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
