Felton M. Elliott, 84, died May 3, 2010 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born July 16, 1925 at Belton, Texas, the son of Raymond and Ila (Northem) Elliott. He married Mildred Marcie Jones June 8, 1947 at Belton, Texas. She died April 5, 2007. A Great Bend, Kansas, resident since 1980, coming from Anthony and Hutchinson, Kansas, Mr. Elliott was a regional manager for Gibsons Discount Store. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy. Mr. Elliott was a member of the Moose Lodge, Hutchinson, Kansas. Survivors include one son, Phillip Elliott, Great Bend, Kansas; one daughter, Jan Hassler and husband David, Lawrence, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Cammie Elliott, Hutchinson, Kansas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Elliott; and four brothers, Harold Elliott, Deward Elliott, Cecil Elliott, and Wallace Elliott. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home with Loren Dyke officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2010 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Friday at Bryant Funeral Home.
