F. Paul Miller, 83, died December 10, 2011 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned, Kansas. He was born March 19, 1928 at Selden, Kansas, the son of Morton and Adelaide (Gage) Miller. He married Augusta Zeilinger June 19, 1958 at Heidelberg, Germany. A Great Bend resident since 2002, coming from Mundelein, Illinois, he was a retired career United States Army veteran during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. Mr. Miller was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Augusta Miller, of the home; one brother, John Alden Miller and his wife Joyce, Junction City, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ester Hedge. Vigil service with Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Reginald A. Urban will be celebrant. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home.
