Edward Irvin McMillin, 57, died March 9, 2011 at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was born November 5, 1953 at Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Harlan D. "Mac" and Velma H. (Beck) McMillin. He married Crista Ricke August 5, 1973 at Hoisington. A Yukon resident since 1995, coming from Halstead, Kansas, Mr. McMillin was an oilfield production foreman for Kaiser-Francis Oil Company. Mr. McMillin enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, hunting, and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Crista McMillin, of the home; his mother, Velma H. McMillin, Hoisington; three sons: Jacob McMillin and wife Andrea, Plevna, Kansas; Samuel McMillin and wife Megan, Wichita, Kansas; and Taylor McMillin, Wichita; one daughter, Hannah Flask and husband Dominick, Wichita; three sisters: Alyce Chambers and husband Mike, Hoisington; Arlene Lewis, Viola, Kansas; and Jan Aylward and husband Mike, Hoisington; and two grandchildren: Hunter McMillin and Megan Hart. He was preceded in death by his father, Mac McMillin; and one brother-in-law, Marvin Lewis. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Hoisington. Pastor Kris Brinlee and Pastor David Handyside will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2011 and from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Monday, March 14, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Life Community Church, 1201 SW 27th St., El Reno, Oklahoma.
