Edra Mae Otte, 90, died September 8, 2007, at Riverbend Assisted Living, Great Bend, Kansas. Edra was born August 17, 1917,in Luray, the daughter of Daniel Ruble and Grace Walmer Brown. On June 17, 1934 she married Harry Hudnall in Russell County, Kansas. On October 29, 1971 she married Orval Otte in Great Bend, Kansas. He survives. She was a homemaker. Edra was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Tuesday Morning Prayer Group and Fort Zarah E. H. U. all of Great Bend. Survivors include her husband Orval of the home; two sons, Harold Hudnall and wife, Velda of Great Bend and Dr. Lynn Otte and wife, Anne of Herington, Kansas; six daughters, Karen Hudnall Jakub and husband, Keith of Derby, Connie Hudnall Steinle of Minturn, Colorado, Dorothy Hudnall Wilson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Joyce Otte Reid and husband, Henry of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Jean Otte Landon and husband, Jimmy of Winfield, Kansas and Eileen Otte Johnson and husband, John of Elkart, Indiana; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Edra was preceded in death by a son, Harry "Bud" Hudnall, Jr.; two brothers, two sisters, one infant sister and one infant grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, with the Reverend Diana Coberly and Pastor Todd Hudnall officiating. Interment will be in the Luray Cemetery, Luray, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 with family to receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to service time. Memorials are suggested to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
