Dustin W. "Bubba" Buess, 22, died March 2, 2012 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, North Dakota as the result of an automobile accident. He was born May 24, 1989 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Rodney Wayne Buess and Stephanie Marie Morrison. A lifetime Great Bend resident,Mr. Buess was a roughneck for Nomac Drilling. He was a member of First Street Church of God, Hoisington, Kansas. Survivors include his father, Rodney Wayne Buess of Great Bend; his mother, Stephanie Marie Scheuerman and her husband David of Great Bend; one daughter, Heidi Kay Jording of Great Bend; two sisters, Destiny Buess of Manhattan, Kansas and Anjelica Akins of Auburn, Nebraska; two brothers, Derrick Buess of Great Bend and Andrew Akins of Auburn, Nebraska; Paternal grandfatner, Richard Buess and his wife Doris of Great Bend; Paternal grandmother, Cora Jennings of Great Bend; Maternal grandparents, Dennis and Josie Morrison of Sand Springs Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend, Kansas with The Reverend Dick Ogle officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 5 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home.
