Duane A. Ochs, 60, died July 27, 2016, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla. Born Aug. 26, 1955, in Hoisington, he was the son of Edwin A. and Delores (Boxberger) Ochs. He married Barbara Nichols and they were later divorced. He then married LeAnn Weber and they later divorced. Born and raised in Hoisington, he moved to Great Bend in 1977, living and working there until moving to Seattle, Wash. in 1990. He was employed by the Boeing, Company, retiring in January 2016. He was an avid golfer and bowler.

Survivors include his mother, Delores Ochs of Great Bend; one brother, Darrell Ochs and his wife Kathy of Great Bend; one niece, Nickie of Great Bend; and one nephew, Darren of Debary, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father.
