Donna R. Newby, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Wichita on Thursday, February 25, 2021. She was born October 1, 1934, in Hastings, Neb., to Ray and Mabel Mennenga.

Donna was a caring and friendly person. Her cheerful and positive demeanor will be missed by all who knew her. She was a long time Goodwill Industries employee and Riverside neighborhood resident.

Survivors include, daughter, Kathy (Bill) Sheridan; two sons, Tim Newby and companion Paula Schwartzkopf and Sid Newby; three grandsons, Patrick Sheridan, Matt Sheridan and Ben Newby; and two great grandsons, Henry Sheridan and Rory Sheridan.

As per her wishes, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Kansas Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
