Donna Rae (Krier) Hoffman, age 66, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at her home. She was born February 11, 1947, in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle (DeLair) Krier. Donna was a 1965 graduate of Claflin Kansas High School and graduated from West Hills College in San Diego, California, where she attended from 1965-1968, earning a degree in Accounting. Donna enjoyed her animals especially her horses and her dachshunds. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Suzanne Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon. On February 12, 1997, she married LeRoy J. Hoffman in Claflin, Kansas. They resided in Claflin until 2000, moving to Mt. Vernon to retire. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy; one son, Paul Bradshaw and his wife, Amanda; two daughters, Deborah Jerue and her husband, David, and Bridgette Hoffman all of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday August 26, 2013 at Claflin Cemetery in Claflin, Kansas with Father Anselm Eke as celebrant. Friends may call Sunday August 25, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Altar Society rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington, Kansas.
