Donald Dean Engstrom, 67, died July 28, 2017, at his home, Great Bend. He was born July 11, 1950, at Fredonia, the son of Gus and Betty (Tarter) Engstrom. He was a foreman for Union Pacific. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Matthew Engstrom of Great Bend, and Corey Engstrom of Hoisington; one step-son, David McDowell of Wichita; one step-daughter, Melissa Baker-Adams and her husband Bradon of Pueblo, Colo.; three brothers, Rex Engstrom of Bartlesville, Okla., Ron Engstrom and his wife Linda of Hutchinson, and Bud Engstrom and his wife Linda of Tulsa, Okla.; and one sister: Ann Stillings and her husband Bob of Michigan.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at the American Legion Post, 730 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson. Memorials are requested to Don Engstrom Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
