Dennis Patrick McGreevy, 60, died December 9, 2012 at his home, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born April 19, 1952 at Great Bend, the son of William Stanley and June Lorraine (Murray) McGreevy. He married Judy K. Bender April 23, 1976 at Great Bend. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mr. McGreevy was an equipment operator for Kansas Department of Transportation. Mr. McGreevy was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed music, history, farming, the outdoors and learning about 1950's memorabilia. Survivors include his wife, Judy K. McGreevy, of the home; his mother, June Lorraine McGreevy, Great Bend; one son, Coy McGreevy, Great Bend; three brothers: Michael McGreevy and his wife Colleen, Denver, Colorado; Robert McGreevy and his wife Debbie, Pratt, Kansas; and Timothy McGreevy, Hutchinson, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; and pet cats, Snooky and Rowdy. He was preceded in death by his father. Vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Cremation will follow the service and a private family inurnment will be at a later date. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to St. Mark Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
