Debra J. Walker, 52, died November 7, 2008 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born September 16, 1956 at Nebraska City, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Fletcher) Strange. She married Allan H. Walker at Great Bend, Kansas. A homemaker, Mrs. Walker was a resident of Great Bend since 1980, coming from Ellinwood, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Allan H. Walker, of the home; one son, Jason Walker, Great Bend, Kansas; one brother, John A. Strange, Riverton, Iowa; three sisters: Jonie McCoy, Rockport, Missouri; Janet Strange, Elsberry, Missouri; and Diana Strange, Hamburg, Iowa; and two grandchildren: Julia Walker and Hunter Walker. No services will be held as cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in charge of Bryant Funeral Home
