Debra Ann Rumble, 56, died November 8, 2011 at her home, Leawood, Kansas. She was born May 20, 1955 at Manhattan, Kansas, the daughter of Robert G. and Jean E. (Antenen) Rumble. Growing up in Great Bend, Debbie was a Great Bend High School graduate and obtained her Master of Library Science degree from Kansas State University. She was a retired librarian for the Turner School District. Ms. Rumble was a member of First United Methodist Church, Great Bend; and Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Kansas State University. Debbie was devoted to her cats, Maddie and Murphy, who along with her family and friends will miss her. Survivors include her mother, Jean Rumble, Great Bend; one brother, Brad Rumble and his wife Karen, Gladstone, Missouri; two nieces: Rachelle Gordon and her husband Kevyn, Lee's Summit, Missouri; and Kenzie Rumble, Kansas City, Missouri; and one great-niece, Lynley Gordon. She was preceded in death by her father. A private family service and inurnment will be held. Inurnment will be in Great Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to American Diabetes Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
