Deborah Kay Reif, 58, died April 20, 2008 at Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado. She was born December 30, 1949 at Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of Herbert M. and Doris L. (DeWald) Boxberger. She was a lifetime resident of Hoisington, and was an assistant loan officer at First Kansas Bank, Hoisington. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hoisington. Survivors include two sons, Keith Reif and wife, London; and Terry Reif and wife, Anita, both of Hoisington; her mother, Doris Boxberger, Hoisington; one brother, Doug Boxberger, Hoisington; companion, Larry Brack, Hoisington; and five grandchildren, Bradley, Brooke, Brady, Mallory, and Gabrielle Reif. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert M. Boxberger. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hoisington. Pastor John Bender will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Lung Transplance Unit - University of Colorado or Emmanuel Lutheran Church, both in care of the funeral home.
