Debbie Huslig, 59, died September 26, 2012 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born December 10, 1952 at Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Bernard Louis and Donna Joan "Jo" (Rose) Huslig. A Wichita resident since 1997, coming from Great Bend, she was a baby sitter, seamstress, beauty operator and aerobics instructor. She was a devoted and loving grandmother. Survivors include two sons: Toby Julian and his wife Leah, Sterling, Nebraska; and Shannon Julian and his wife Joey, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Lacey Smith and her husband Jake, Wichita; two brothers: David Huslig and his wife Carol, Grand Junction, Colorado; and Tony Huslig, Great Bend; four sisters: Diana Parks and her husband David, Oberlin, Kansas; Mary Folkerts and her husband Randy, Pawnee Rock, Kansas; Shelly Forster and her husband Tom, Kimberling City, Missouri; and Tami Dykes and her husband Matt, Great Bend; and seven grandchildren: Derek, Matthew, Parker, Reese, Alannah, Ezekiel, and Ivy. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Huslig and Donald Huslig. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at First Assembly of God, Great Bend. Pastor Dwight Dozier and Pastor David Huslig will officiate. Memorials are requested to the Debbie Huslig Expense Fund, in care of the funeral home.
