David Jess Sohm, 46, passed away at his home Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born March 6, 1976, to Cliff and Lila Sohm in Great Bend.

A lifelong resident of Great Bend, David spent the last several years of his life as a caretaker for his father. A sincerely funny and fun-loving man, he loved Jesus, Trump, guns, the Chiefs and the Wildcats, and his parents.

David was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father, a son – Cody Griffith of Salina, a sister –Vicki Bortzer (Mont) of Jetmore, and his nieces and nephews – Taylor, Kaden, Kaylee, Tatum, and Walker.

Cremation has occurred and a family service will be planned for a later date. David is finally free of the chains and burdens of this world. Memorials have been designated to the David Sohm Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
