David Alan Galusha, 31, died August 21, 2010 at his home in Otis, Kansas. He was born May 28, 1979 at Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Timothy and Connie (Schlegel) Galusha. A lifetime Otis resident, he was a guard for the Larned Correctional Facility. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Otis Fire Department, Otis. Survivors include his mother, Connie L. Galusha, Otis; father, Tim Alan Galusha and wife Virginia, Otis; one daughter, Adison Louise Galusha, Great Bend; one half-brother, Darrell Tucker, Orlando, Florida; two half-sisters: Deanne Tucker, Orlando; and Dawn Galusha, Hoisington, Kansas; maternal grandmother, Margaret Schlegel, Otis; paternal grandfather, Gerald Galusha, Bellevue, Iowa; and one uncle, Don Schlegel, Otis. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Sam Schlegel; and paternal grandmother, Eraina Galusha. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis with Pastor Bruce Adamson officiating. Inurnment will be in Otis Lutheran Cemetery, Otis. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the David Galusha Funeral Expense Fund in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
