Connie Sue Starks, 50, died December 22, 2012 at her home, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born February 7, 1962 at Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Gene and Beatrice (Southerland) Parks. She married Terry Starks June 10, 1984 at Hutchinson, Kansas. A Great Bend resident for nineteen years, coming from Hutchinson, Mrs. Starks was a homemaker. She attended First Assembly of God. Survivors include her husband, Terry Starks of the home; her father, Gene Marks, Macksville, Kansas; two daughters: Jennifer Starks, Hutchinson; and Victoria Starks, Great Bend; one brother, Larry Parks, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and one grandchild: Doshja Starks, Hutchinson. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Pastor Dwight Dozier will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home.
