Cindy Stoskopf, 69, died July 15, 2010 at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born August 7, 1940 at Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Allen Samuel and Mary Maxine (Britton) Hicks. She married Kenneth Lee Stoskopf May 31, 1969 at Larned, Kansas. He died April 17, 1997. A Great Bend resident since January 2010, coming from Otis, Mrs. Stoskopf was a nurse aide. Mrs. Stoskopf was a member of River of Life Foursquare Gospel Church, Great Bend. Survivors include three step-sons: Jim Stoskopf, Conifer, Colorado; John Stoskopf, Great Bend; and Jack Stoskopf, Hampton, Virginia; two step-daughters: Connie McKnight, Ava, Missouri; and Karen Cruz, Great Bend; two sisters: Virginia Ann Branch, Acton, California; and Hazel Pogue, Lake Elsinore, California; three brothers: Michael Hicks, Sun City, California; Allen Scott Hicks, Linwood, California; and Billy Hicks, Indianapolis, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor David LeRoy officiating. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 16, 2010 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to River of Life Foursquare Gospel Church, in care of the funeral home.
