Christine O. "Chris" Keeler, passed away October 2, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas . She was born July 2, 1938 at Great Bend, to Donovan and Mary (Risse) Neeland.

Christine married Charles Keeler August 6, 1960 at Great Bend. A homemaker and a lifetime resident of Great Bend, Christine was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of  Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend, and an avid bridge player.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Keeler, of the home; four daughters, Sherri Henry of Great Bend, Donna Calais and husband Gerald of Lake Charles, LA, Lori Thompson and husband Bert of Great Bend, Lisa Green and husband Kevin of Victoria, KS; three Grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, and Brady Peterson.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Neeland, Paul Neeland, and Michael Neeland, and by one sister, Zita Kreutzer Carlson.

Services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Ted Stoecklein presiding. Interment will be Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established with Holy Family School Endowment, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
