Cecil M. Luttrell, 77, died December 4, 2007, at his home in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on July 3, 1930 at Harold, Texas, the son of Otis and Lucy Haynes Luttrell. On October 9, 1950, he married Rose Ileen Mauder in Lawton, Oklahoma. She survives. He was a resident of Great Bend since 1960. Survivors include his wife R. Ileen Luttrell of the home; three sons, Alan Luttrell and wife Jan of Pratt, Kansas, Curtis Luttrell and wife Nancy of Wichita, Kansas and Gordon Luttrell and wife Bev of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Sharron Pace of Great Bend and Vicki Anderson and husband Steve of Santa Anna, California; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Luttrell and James Luttrell; and a sister, Mary Nell Strawn. A private family service and inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Southwind Hospice in care of the funeral home.
