Carroll Frank, 73, died April 8, 2009 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born October 15, 1935 at Chase, Kansas, the son of Raymond and Delphia (Forbes) Frank. He married Judy Martens. She died in 1996. He then married Marilyn Leuenberger May 13, 2000. A resident of Great Bend for twenty-three years, coming from Ellinwood, Kansas, he was a carpenter for Kustom Floor Designs. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, of the home; one son, David Frank and wife, Debbie, Wichita, Kansas; four step-sons: Carl "Butch" Leuenberger, Layne Leuenberger, and Troy Leuenberger, all of Great Bend, Kansas; and Aaron Leuenberger, Hays, Kansas; one daughter, Debbie Stegman and husband, Robert, Lyons, Kansas; one step-daughter, Lori Cooley, Great Bend, Kansas; one sister, Letha Helms, Chauteau, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Sarah Williams and James Frank, both of Wichita, Kansas; Christi Weis, Garland, Texas; Lance Stegman, Gardner, Kansas; and Lee Stegman, San Diego, California; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Loren Frank; and one sister, Wilma Scheufler. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church, Ellinwood, with Pastor Ray Willis officiating. Inurnment will be in Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the family, in care of the funeral home.
