Carol Yvonne Harris, 62, died March 23, 2008 at Galichia Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 7, 1945 at Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of Wilbur and Earline Christiansen Demanett. She married Robert "Bob" Harris January 28, 1962 at Plainville, Kansas. A homemaker, Mrs. Harris was a Great Bend, Kansas, resident since 1969, coming from Plainville. Mrs. Harris was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Morris-McFadden Post 3111 Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Trinity Lutheran Church, all of Great Bend, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Harris, of the home; three sons, Bob Harris and wife, Kayci, Great Bend, Kansas, Rick Harris and wife, Ginny, Leawood, Kansas, and Brad Harris and wife, Christa, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; five sisters, Virginia Lynch, San Diego, California, Judy Sherrod, Maryland, Debbie Becker, Plainville, Kansas, Diane Meyers, Ellis, Kansas, and Stacy Demanett, Hays, Kansas; and nine grandchildren, Dane Harris, Matt Harris, Megan Harris, Rachel Harris, Kirk Harris, Alex Harris, Joshua Harris, Ethan Harris, and Arik Soule. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend, with the Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established with Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
