Bryon R. Monaghan, 46, of Susank, KS died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington, KS. He was born August 14, 1965 at Cheyenne, Wyoming the son of Duane Pope and Tammie (Homan) Rausch. Bryon lived in Susank for the past five years coming from Albuquerque, NM. He was a very talented self-employed woodworker and carpenter. He was of the christian faith. He is survived by his Fiancee, Louann Bryant of Susank; step daughter, Crystal Blackburn; step son, Ricky Bryant; mother, Tami Rausch, Hoisington; two sisters, Patricia Gallegos, Albuquerque, Shawn Dunlap, Rudy, AR; grandfather, Jim Homan, Hoisington; grandmother, Nadine Monfrance, Albuquerque; niece, Emily Gallegos; four nephews, John Gallegos, Noah Gallegos, Nathan Montoya, Dustin Jahay. He was preceded in death by one sister, Tina Monaghan. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Church of the Nazarene in Hoisington with Reverend Don Fisher officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
