Brina Brown, 88, died July 22, 2008 at Lakewood Senior Living - Seville, Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 11, 1920 at Hilham, Tennessee, the daughter of Lee and Susie (Wright) Allen. She was a former cosmetologist and interior decorator having worked at Sears, Singer Sewing Center, and J. C. Penney. She lived in the Wichita area for forty years. Ms. Brown was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include one son, Clair LaRiviere, Haysville, Kansas; one daughter, Madonna; one sister, Susie Lee Hyson; three grandchildren, Shawn Lee LaRiviere, Kara Irene LaRiviere, and Bryan Shane LaRiviere. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Catheline Brown; three brothers, Earl Allen, Dillard Allen, and Jack Allen; and three sisters, Mabel Thorn, Artemas Lynn, and Lucille. There will be no service or visitation as cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will be at Hoisington Cemetery at a later date.
