Brandon Joseph Funk, 16, died March 28, 2015, at his home in Great Bend. He was born June 2, 1998, at Hoisington, the son of Clark LaVern and Cynthia Marie (Schmitt) Funk. He was a junior at Great Bend High School. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Great Bend. He enjoyed playing video games, playing outside, playing with Willie and watching television with his father. Survivors include his parents, of Great Bend; three brothers, Curtis Funk, Raymond Funk and his wife Samantha, and William Funk, all of Great Bend; maternal grandparents Nick and Rose Schmitt of Great Bend; and one niece, Lillith Funk. Prayer service will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 at the funeral home with the Reverend Adam D. Wutka, officiant. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Galatia. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home.
