Bonnie M. Mooer, 86, died April 4, 2012 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born October 14, 1925 at Belpre, Kansas, the daughter of Roy Lee and Maggie Dell (Roby) Peoples was raised by foster parents, Ray and Grace Owen. She married Bennie Mooer September 8, 1946 at St. John, Kansas. He died July 25, 2011. A Great Bend and Hoisington resident most of her life, Mrs. Mooer was a registered nurse at Hoisington Lutheran Hospital and Central Kansas Medical Center. Mrs. Mooer was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Janene Lehmann and her husband Marvin, Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren: Todd Lehmann and his wife Julie, Grand Prairie, Texas; and Sheri Lehmann, Euless, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Storm Lehmann, Sutton Lehmann, and Luke Lehmann. She was preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Peoples. Graveside memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Great Bend Cemetery. The Reverend Dr. Doyle Smith will officiate. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to First Southern Baptist Church or the charity of the donor's choice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
