Bobby R. Hunt, 53, died April 6, 2008 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born July 14, 1954 at Lyons, Kansas, the son of Arther W. and Shirley R. Jones Hunt. He was a lifetime Great Bend resident, working in the oilfield. Mr. Hunt was a member of First Street Church of God, Hoisington, Kansas. Survivors include his parents, Arther and Shirley Hunt, Great Bend, Kansas; a brother, Larry W. Hunt; a sister, Catherine Rene'e Hunt Strecker; four nephews; six nieces and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Essie Hunt and Ray and Margie Jones. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home. The Reverend Dick Ogle will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend, Kansas. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2008 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Bryant Funeral Home.
