Beverly Ann Schaub, 77, died August 21, 2009 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born October 29, 1931 at Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Frank J. and Hazel C. (Wood) Keenan. She married Robert E. Schaub February 6, 1951 at Great Bend. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, Mrs. Schaub was a homemaker. Mrs. Schaub was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was a Central Kansas Medical Center volunteer for fifteen years. Survivors include her husband, Robert Schaub, of the home; five sons: Kent Schaub and wife, Merris, Ness City, Kansas; Richard Schaub, Missoula, Montana; Kurtis Schaub and Anetta, Great Bend, Kansas; Alan Schaub and wife, Kristi, Issaquah, Washington; Kris Schaub and wife, Sharon, Tecumseh, Kansas; one daughter: Liz Price and husband, Steve, Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers: Francis "Red" Keenan, Osage Beach, Missouri; and Tom Keenan, Great Bend, Kansas; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Casey. Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and a vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Reginald A. Urban and Father Ultan Murphy will be celebrants. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2009 at Bryant Funeral Home.
