Betty Ann Yetschke, 84, died May 5, 2010 at her home, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born May 17, 1925 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Donald, Sr. and Frances (Corbeille) Bowsher. She married Robert Eldon Yetschke December 27, 1946 at Great Bend. He died May 3, 2010. A Great Bend resident since 1938, coming from Hutchinson, Kansas, Mrs. Yetschke worked for Kansas Power and Light, Co. as a division secretary for thirty years. Mrs. Yetschke was a member of First United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and KPL Retirees Club, all of Great Bend. Survivors include one son: Kent Robert Yetschke, Great Bend; one daughter, Barbara Ann Yetschke, Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Donald A. Bowsher, Jr., Great Bend; one sister, Vickie Cole, Hays, Kansas; two grandchildren, Juli Ann Sparkman and husband George and Kendra D. Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Dawson and Logan Williams. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Barnett; and one granddaughter, Tara Rene Yetschke. The body was donated for research to the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas. A memorial fund has been established with the American Heart Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
